Mosman Council’s Community Care section provides a range of person centred services to older Mosman residents, people with disabilities and their carers through its Community Care section.

This newly created position will ensure the team continues to provide high quality, reliable and accessible support services that are responsive to the needs of the Mosman community, in particular, to those that are socially isolated. It will suit a person who enjoys a blend of hands-on and strategic work, appreciates the needs of the Mosman community and is a skilled supervisor, comfortable working with staff and volunteers.

The role encompasses ongoing development of a range of person centered community care programs and activities in consultation with service users. It includes undertaking assessments of care needs, providing information, support and referrals and ensuring the Care Programs function optimally at all times. The successful applicant will be responsible for meeting contracted commitments for the section, will assist with the efficient and effective operation of Mosman Community Care as a whole, and will be a team player.

This is a permanent full time opportunity Monday to Friday. However, you may be required to work additional hours in the evening and weekend from time to time to meet community care programs requirements.
