Manager Information Technology Services

An exciting opportunity currently exists to lead the IT Services department at Mosman Council. We are looking for a dynamic, results-driven person with solid experience and expertise in strategic planning of emerging business technology systems, and overseeing the development, design and implementation of new applications.

The Manager Information Technology Services Manager is responsible for the leadership, management, operation and maintenance of information communication equipment and services. In this position you will support day to day operations as well as the Council’s Delivery Program and Operational Plans to deliver innovative solutions.

The role is responsible for all aspects of technology management, and includes the supervision of information technology operations, GIS and knowledge management. This includes management of employees, strategy preparation and management, recommendations for new technology acquisitions and development of guidelines, standards and procedures.

You will bring your experience in a senior leadership position, superior contract and vendor management skills and excellent project management ability. If you have qualifications in information technology or a related field, significant experience in leading the engagement and delivery of a range of emerging technology related functions and meet the selection criteria then this job is for you!
