Records Management Officer P/T 28 hrs per week

An exciting opportunity currently exists within the Governance Team at Mosman Council in a position as part-time Records Management Officer. We are seeking an enthusiastic person who is keen to further their career working in a professional team environment.

Reporting to the Team Leader Records, the Records Management Officer will assist in the provision and maintenance of an accurate and accessible records management system having regard to Council’s management plan MOSPLAN, State Records legislation and Council’s electronic corporate document management system, ECM.

The Records Management Officer will also be responsible for providing a high level of professional and ethical service to internal and external customers including determining customer needs, proposing positive solutions and ensuring needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

The successful applicant will be able to function as an active member of the Records and Document Team and provide an effective and timely service to Council and its customers.

The position is required to liaise with staff across all areas of Mosman Council. The position will provide advice and guidance on relevant Records Management policies and procedures.
