21 September 2017

October is Mental Health Month in NSW and the Library will present a special “Monday Matters” as a part of the program.

Dr Ana Brandao is a classical feng shui consultant who conducts classes in in feng shui, numerology and mindfulness. She will teach some easy mindfulness methods to help with meditating at home and finding peace and calm in everyday life.

Meditation is now commonly used to treat mental health disorders, addiction and everyday stress.

Librarian Jane Roughley said: “Practising meditation helps you to slow your breath and quieten your mind, which can be beneficial to your physical and emotional health as well”.

“Mindfulness Meditation” will be held on Monday 9 October at 10.30am. All welcome to this free event.
