Street Tree Master Plan changes

Posted Thursday 27 April 2017

Residents and ratepayers are being invited to have their say on proposed changes to Council’s Street Tree Master Plan which is used for street tree planting works by both Council and residents.

Most of the proposed amendments to the current plan, which was adopted in 2005 and amended in 2012, are for one of two specified species listed for each street. However, in some streets where both current species are performing poorly both species have been changed.

The plan provides surety in species selection for streets and roads in Mosman and is used in the development application process and when residents request permission or for Council to plant a tree on public land in front of their property.

Search for your street to see if it is among those with proposed changes and give your feedback by 9 June 2017.
