A Jane Austen Entertainment

Posted Monday 29 May 2017

July this year marks the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen’s death – an appropriate year in which to commemorate her style and genius. Susannah Fullerton, President of the Jane Austen Society of Australia, will perform dramatic readings from the six beloved Austen novels, but also from the juvenilia and letters. She will bring Austen’s wonderful characters to life. Revel in the humour, the poignant moments, the wit and irony of the immortal Jane Austen.

Susannah Fullerton has been President of JASA for the past 21 years. She is Australia’s most popular lecturer on Austen, her life and works. She is a regular lecturer for ADFAS, and at the Art Gallery of NSW, the State Library of NSW, and at clubs and conferences. She has given talks on Jane Austen in England, Scotland, USA, Canada, Fiji, Italy, NZ and all around Australia.
