Parking Fines

Parking infringement notices are issued by Council Rangers when motorists are found to be in breach of Australian road rules.

The State Debt Recovery Office (SDRO) is responsible for the review of penalty representations, the receipt and processing of fines issued by Council and the administering of the fine enforcement system for the collection of unpaid fines.

How do I pay a fine?

The infringement notice penalty amount should be paid to the SDRO within 21 days from the date of issue.

Visit the SDRO website to view payment options.

How do I request a review?

You can request a review of your penalty notice through the SDRO if you believe an error has been made or you wish to seek leniency because there were special circumstances which contributed to the offence. Visit the SDRO website for more information.
