Mosman Council Children’s Services is seeking Early Childhood and OOSH Assistants who are looking for flexible, casual working days/hours that fit in with your current work and study commitments.

Casual OOSH Assistant

Mosman Council’s Before & After School and Vacation Care program (OOSH) operates out of The Drill Hall, Mosman and is a large purpose orientated heritage listed Hall that provides before and after school care for approximately 40 children in the morning and 75 children in the afternoon as well as providing a popular Vacation Care program to the surrounding community each school holidays.

The children having ample access to an indoor/outdoor program with a focus on sustainability where they have opportunities to take care of the free range chickens, worm farm, veggie and compost patch.

The role offers flexibility in working days/hours and shifts include Before School Care 7.30am-9.00am, After School Care 2.30pm-6.00pm and /or the option of full-time hours from 8.00am-6.00pm during Vacation Care.

Casual Early Childhood Assistant

Mosman Council’s Early Learning Centre (MOCC) is located on the Allan Border Oval and is a boutique 20 place service that operates preschool for children aged 3-5 years, Monday & Tuesday and long day care and occasional care, for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, Wednesday-Friday.

The service is centrally located and set in beautiful park surrounds with a dedicated indoor/outdoor program focusing on engaging children to foster their skills and development through active play.

The role offers flexibility in working day/hours with shifts available from 8am-4.00pm Monday-Friday.

The successful applicants will be able to positively contribute to a team environment and have a demonstrated ability to establish positive rapport with children and their families.
