Manager Human Resources

  • Up to $135K plus super (salary depends on qualifications and experience)
  • Full time position (35hrs per week)
  • Degree level Management and/or Human Resources
  • At least five years’ experience operating in a similar role at a senior level

This role is a key resource for the organisation, working closely with the General Manager and Directors and in daily contact with Managers and key staff. Reporting to the Director Corporate Services, the position holder is responsible for driving and managing human resource functions that promote staff performance and wellbeing, and enable the organisation to meet its current and future goals. The successful candidate will also oversee the WHS risk management functions of Council and contribute to the development of MOSPLAN, Council’s Community Strategic Plan and other key corporate projects.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and engender co-operation. Written and verbal communication skills are essential, together with the ability to lead and manage staff engagement processes.
