An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate Volunteers Support Officer to join Mosman Council’s Community Care Team.

Reporting to the Aged and Disability Development Officer, this key business role is responsible for the coordination and delivery of high quality volunteer services to clients, families and carers under various community and residential programs, and across a range of Council services.

Responsibilities will include ensuring suitable volunteers are recruited, developed and managed to meet the needs of Council’s volunteer programs, monitoring and evaluating volunteer performance and maintaining accurate volunteer records to ensure compliance obligations are consistently met.

You will be customer focussed, have previous experience managing volunteer programs and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Your ability to be a team player as well as strong interpersonal and organisational skills will ensure your success in this role.

Employment in this position is subject to a Working with Children Check and Police Check for criminal history.
