An exciting opportunity currently exists within the Communications team at Mosman Council. We are seeking an enthusiastic person who is keen to further their career working in a professional team environment.
Reporting to the Manager Communications, the Web Services Coordinator is responsible for the development, enhancement, maintenance and marketing of Council’s website and other online properties and its social media presence. The position holder will also be required to write news items, event information and general copies for Council’s websites, taking editorial responsibility for the content, quality and style of web content and metadata to ensure consistency and compliance with web standards, Council’s objectives, and Australian legal standards especially with regards to copyright and privacy.
This key corporate role involves working with staff throughout Council to ensure that online information is relevant and up to date and facilitating community engagement.
