Take your next step in 2017 with a highly regarded, trendsetting Youth Service. Mosman Council is looking for a Youth Programs Officer who has a real focus on empowering young people using initiatives that build their skills, voice and purpose.

Reporting to the Youth Development Officers, the Youth Programs Officer will be responsible for programming services with a real focus on empowering young people and their families. The role involves engagement with young people to develop and implement initiatives that build their skills, voice and purpose. Management, operation and promotion of daily activities at the Youth Development Centre will also be an important component of this role.

You will be someone who enjoys enhancing existing initiatives and is looking for an opportunity to introduce new ideas. You’ll be a team player, flexible and solutions-focused and able to work autonomously. The ideal candidate will be connected with relevant networks and have an excellent knowledge of what’s important to young people, how to connect with them and how best to meet their needs.
