Monday Matters at Barry O'Keefe Library16 April 2018
One of the Library’s most popular “Monday Matters” presenters will return in May to teach the finer points of solving cryptic crosswords.
“Ralph Penglis is passionate about crosswords and his enthusiasm is infectious,” Librarian Jane Roughley said.
Ralph has been a cryptic crossword aficionado for many years and now, in his retirement, takes great pleasure in passing on his knowledge.
“Once you know the basic tricks of the trade, you can use them to unlock the secrets of these puzzles,” Ralph said.
His workshops, on Monday 7 May and Monday 14 May, will each run for two hours, from 10.30am until 12.30pm. Booking a spot means you must attend both sessions.
“Monday Matters” is a free event. Bookings are essential on 9978 4091 or visit events.mosman.nsw.gov.au.
