Public Exhibition of Proposed Amendments to Mosman LEP 2012 and Mosman Residential DCP 2012
Council is proposing to amend Mosman Local Environmental Plan 2012 and Mosman Residential Development Control Plan 2012 by:
- amending objectives in the LEP for the R2 Low Density Residential zone, clause 4.3 height of buildings and clause 4.4 floor space ratio in order to strengthen and provide consistency between these objectives,
- reintroducing local clauses for wall height, number of storeys and landscaped area in the LEP, and omitting such clauses from the DCP, so as to reinforce controls which have applied in Mosman for over 20 years,
- correct an error in objective O3 in Part 5.10 Transport, Access and Parking of the DCP.
These amendments affect residential and business zoned land in Mosman.
The proposed amendments are on exhibition from 12 June until 10 July 2014 at Mosman Civic Centre between the hours of 8.30am to 5pm weekdays, at Mosman Library during ordinary library hours, and on Council’s website.
Submissions are invited during this period. All submissions received will be made publicly available on the website. If you wish to have your name and/or address removed from the submission before it is published, please state this clearly in your submission.
The Minister for Planning has chosen to delegate the making of the LEP to Council.
