Upgrading and Temporary Closure of Mosman Bay Ferry WharfPosted Thursday 20 March 2014
Roads and Maritime Services will begin major upgrade works at Mosman Bay Wharf on Wednesday 26 March. These works are expected to take six months to complete (weather and maritime conditions permitting), with the wharf closed for all regular ferry services during that time. The last ferry service will be at 12.22am on 26 March.
Upgrade works will provide:
- Improved access for customers using mobility aids
- Better protection from the wind, sun and rain
- Improved customer safety
- More efficient boarding and disembarking
During the temporary closure of Mosman Bay Wharf ferry customers will need to use alternative transport. Customers can catch the 230 bus to Military Road to connect to services to the city or continue on route 230 to North Sydney Station, Milsons Point Station and Milsons Point Wharf.
The Mosman Ferry Service will continue to operate to the existing timetable at South Mosman Wharf and Old Cremorne Wharf. Peak period Taronga Ferry Services will terminate at Taronga Zoo during the temporary closure of Mosman Bay Wharf. For further information on alternative transport services call 131 500 or visit www.transportnsw.info.
