Have Your Say on Parking in Mosman

Posted Monday 04 August 2014

Mosman Council is inviting residents and businesses to have their say on local parking needs, focusing on the streets in and around Spit Junction and Mosman Junction.

Council wishes to understand whether our parking capacity matches the experience of drivers. Parking around the central business area naturally has limitations but we hope to see how best we can use or improve this resource to meet Mosman’s needs now and into the future.

As part of Council’s commitment to community engagement on issues which affect the community, residents, visitors and business owners are being asked to take part in a parking questionnaire.

The questionnaire is available for completion online via the links below or alternatively questionnaires and collection boxes are available at Council’s Civic Centre, Library, Community Centre and Art Gallery. Information booths will also be located at the Mosman markets on Saturday, 2 August 2014 and at Bridgepoint Shopping Centre on Saturday, 9 August 2014.

The questionnaire will be open from 30 July to 30 August 2014. Council will provide feedback to the community during this period, including resident and business workshops, with plans to have a draft parking strategy ready for Council consideration by the end of this year.

Make sure to have your say!
