Environmentalist, author, and international marketing and communications expert Kim McKay AO will be guest speaker at next month’s fundraising dinner, Mosman Address, at The Bathers’ Pavilion.
Kim, who is Director and CEO of the Australian Museum, will speak on the contentious issue of the potential impact on the harbour and local environment of our skyrocketing property prices in her address ‘Valuing our most precious assets – Sydney real estate or Sydney Harbour – is there a choice?’ .
A co-founder of Clean Up Australia and Clean Up the World, Kim was made an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in 2008 for distinguished service to the environment and the community and was named one of the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence in 2013 and included in the book The Power of 100: One hundred women who have shaped Australia.
The 2015 Mosman Address is presented by the Mosman Public Art Trust in association with Mosman Council to raise funds for public art projects in Mosman. Tickets for the 3 September event are $150 per person, including three courses and beverages.
