Pet's Day Out 2015Posted Sunday 13 September 2015
Festival of Mosman has again celebrated the best of Mosman’s harbourside lifestyle with an array of activities, exhibitions and events throughout Mosman over a 10-day period.
Pet’s Day Out was the final of 50 events held throughout the festival period and attracted about 1500 people with countless pets.
“This year’s Festival had something for everyone, from visual arts and poetry readings to moonlight movies and Festival Markets set to the beat of Concert in the Park,” Festival Director Liz Bennett said.
“Popular local events, such as Mosman Address and the much-loved Pet’s Day Out were among the highlights after being included in this Festival period, showcasing the best of Mosman.”
DOGA – Yoga with your dog – was one of the highlight events of this year’s Pet’s Day Out.
Rancan Sisters Fitness experts put dogs through their paces, while other new and returning entertainment acts included Dancing Dogs R Us, the Responsible Pet Care and Alternate Pets show by Taronga Zoo, Australian Wildlife display and interactive animal shows, Canine Behaviour and Training presentation and audience participation, animal behaviour talks by Life on Four Legs and Mosman Vet displays and fun activities for children.
The Festival of Mosman was organised by Mosman Council with considerable input, support and assistance from local community groups and volunteers. Key supporters included Festival sponsor Kimbriki Environmental Enterprises and our media partner Mosman Daily.
