Celebrating our cultural diversity

Harmony Day is an annual celebration of Australia’s cultural diversity held on 21 March each year to encourage inclusiveness, respect and a sense of belonging among all Australians and to share what we have in common.

The central message for Harmony Day is that ‘everyone belongs’.

A range of activities are being hosted in Mosman for all age groups to celebrate.

  • Harmony Day Lunch for over 55’s
    Friday 18 March, 12-2pm, Community Restaurant – Mosman Seniors Centre
    $10 per person. Bookings essential on 9978 4128.
    Please wear orange to commemorate Harmony Day.
  • Harmony Day Monday Munchies for Youth
    Monday 21 March, 3-6pm, Mosman Youth Centre
    Free event for High School students.

  • Harmony Day Thursday Kids at the Library
    Thursday 24 March, 4pm, Barry O’Keefe Library
    Free event for kids aged 5-12 years. No bookings required.
