Heritage grants
As part of an ongoing commitment to preserving and celebrating the community’s architectural history, Council is offering Local Heritage Grants to assist property owners in restoring or enhancing heritage features on their buildings.
The current year of the Mosman Local Heritage Grant Program is focused on properties within the Military Road Conservation Area, which forms an integral part of Mosman’s unique identity and community.
These grants can help cover costs associated with façade improvements, repainting in historically appropriate colours, repairing original architectural details, or even restoring original elements such as roof and timber trimmings and windows.
Nominations to apply for the grant program are open until 21 November. Details at mosman.nsw.gov.au/heritage-grants.
