Council has approved the installation of shark bite emergency kits at Balmoral Beach, Edwards Beach, Clifton Gardens, Sirius Cove and Chinamans Beach to help improve swimmer safety.
The kits contain vital first aid equipment, including tourniquets, bandages, blankets and instructions, to assist in providing immediate care during the critical moments following a shark bite incident. The initiative will provide beachgoers with added peace of mind as warmer weather brings increased visitation to Mosman's popular beaches.
