Nature strip gardening

As spring approaches, residents are encouraged to get involved in greening our local streets through the Sustainable Nature Strip Program.
A fresh delivery of plants has just arrived, making it the perfect time to transform street verges and underutilised road reserves into vibrant, wildlife-friendly gardens. To support residents, Council is offering a free garden design consultation and free plants for approved projects.
The program is open to homeowners, strata residents and tenants, with a focus on planting local native species to support biodiversity and improve plant survival.
