South Mosman Wharf upgraded

Ferry services will resume at South Mosman Wharf from Friday 24 January 2025.
South Mosman Wharf has been upgraded as part of the NSW Government’s Safe Accessible Transport program to make public transport safe, inclusive and easy to use for all passengers, especially people with disability, older people, people with prams or luggage and people with limited mobility.
Key features of the new wharf include:
- a new lift providing access to all passengers
- a new floating pontoon with a covered waiting area, passenger seating, glass weather screens and information boards
- new covered stairs; covered accessway connecting the lift to the gangway on the lower foreshore; and covered gangway and jetty providing better weather protection
- additional pontoon safety and security features including lighting, closed circuit television (CCTV) cameras, water access ladders, life buoy and tactile ground surface indicators
- three new bicycle parking hoops installed at street level.
