Mosman Sporting Wall of Fame

The Mosman Sporting Wall of Fame, now located at the Marie Bashir Sports Centre, is an initiative of Mosman Municipal Council.

It was originally located at the Mosman Swim Centre in Vista Street and officially unveiled on Wednesday, 17 December 2003, by the Mayor of Mosman, Cr David Strange.

Etched on the wall are the names of athletes who have been selected and/or represented Australia as an athlete in an international sporting competition and have lived or are presently living in Mosman.

The striking glass wall, designed by artists Roger Apte and Warren Langley, combines imagery of selected sports – cricket, rugby, swimming, sailing, athletics and rowing – with the shoreline and major roads of the municipality.

If you know anyone that meets the criteria that you would like to nominate please complete the Sporting Wall of Fame Nomination Form.

For further information on the sportspeople represented please visit Mosman Sporting Wall of Fame.
