Lisa Herbertson
Hockey

Lisa Herbertson learnt to play indoor hockey with Northern Schools Indoor Hockey at the age of 11. She first played Indoor Hockey State Age in 1997 and Open State Age in 1999.

She has been a part of the Australian Indoor Hockey Team since 1999 and as of 2003 is still goal keeper.

Lisa has also competed in the South Africa Tours of 2000 and 2001, the Europe Tour of 2001, the New Zealand Test Series in 2002 and the World Cup Tour in 2003.

As part of her training for indoor hockey, Lisa also trains in running sprints and swims laps to maintain her fitness level. In her leisure time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the movies and watching extreme sports.

In 2000 she was awarded an Australian Sports Medal and has also been named NSW Player of the Year. Lisa notes that her personal highlight is 'playing for Australia'.
