Sailing

Greg attended North Sydney Boys High before going on to study a Bachelor of Engineering at the University of Sydney.

In 1965, at the age of 9, he commenced competitive sailing in the Junior Classes.

Between 1972 and 1975 he was a NSW State Rugby Union Representative in the Under 16s, Under 18s and Under 21s.

In 1976 Greg was a reserve Crew Member for the Australian Olympic Sailing Team. In 1980 he was selected to represent in the 470 class. In 1984 he was the Australian Olympic Sailboard Coach. In 1988 he was once again Reserve Crew Member and Coach and in 1992 and 1996 he was coach to the Australian team.

Greg has also played a strong role in the administration and management of the sport in Australia.
