Graeme Hole
Cricket

Graeme Hole played cricket for New South Wales, South Australia and Australia, and baseball for Mosman and South Australia during the course of his career.

At the age of 13 he was playing cricket for Mosman and went on to become the Cricket Captain at North Sydney Boys High School.

After playing one season for New South Wales, he moved to South Australia where, after playing for several district clubs, he became the cricket captain for South Australia.

It was in 1950 that he played for Australia against England in Melbourne. He then went on to play a total of 18 Tests for Australia.

His first class career was cut short when he ruptured his spleen taking a catch against Victoria in 1958.

He passed away in 1990 after a long battle with cancer.
