Ron Graham was a tough front-row forward for NSW and Australia who played 18 tests for the Wallabies between 1973 and 1978.
He made his debut against Tonga, and went on three overseas tours, to Wales and England in 1973-74, Britain and North America in 1975-76 and France in 1976-77. In Australia, he faced New Zealand, England, Fiji and Japan.
He was a stalwart of the St George district rugby club (now amalgamated with neighbouring Port Hacking as Southern Districts in the Sydney premiership), playing 179 games, 167 of them in first grade. He became first grade captain in 1971.
Ron Graham is currently a board member of the Australian Rugby Union and President of the New South Wales Rugby Union.
