Balmoral set for summer

A winter program of repair and renewal works has been completed along the Balmoral foreshore in time for summer. Infrastructure along the iconic foreshore goes back almost 90 years, with even the more contemporary additions over 40 years old.

The works program, seen as an investment in Balmoral’s long-term future, includes new paving around the Balmoral Rotunda and Public Dining Building, replacement of the dilapidated stormwater pipe on Balmoral Beach, installation of new seating at the southern end of the Balmoral Promenade, new decking in front of the Boat Shed and Kiosk, new floating turning boards for swimmers at Balmoral Baths, and upgraded fitness equipment at Balmoral Oval.

Council has thanked Balmoral residents and visitors for their patience and understanding while works were underway.
