Planning Certificates
A Planning Certificate issued under section 10.7 (previously section 149) of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979, otherwise known as a zoning certificate, provides information about planning controls and other relevant property matters that affect a specific piece of land. Certificates are produced for individual parcels according to their real property description.
A Planning Certificate can be obtained from Council using this application form:
Costs
The cost for certificates is:
- $69 for Section 10.7(2) certificate – provides information required by Regulation.
- $174 for Section 10.7(2) and (5) certificate (full certificate) – provides additional information.
Usually a certificate will be issued between 3 to 5 working days.
