Business owners can also build their skills with videos and other online resources on topics such as business planning, marketing and cash flow – a simple way to learn, improve and make day-to-day decisions with more confidence.

The role of this office is empower small businesses with advocacy and mediation support, providing a voice for small business within government and building business resilience.

Self Employment Assistance
Self Employment Assistance, an initiative of the Australian Government, can help with business ideas or existing businesses through flexible services including self employment workshops, business plan development, free accredited small business training, business advice sessions, business health checks and small business coaching. Business owners may also be eligible for financial support when they start or run their business as part of small business coaching.
