Plans of Management
Plans of Management are key strategic planning documents that guide how public land will be used and managed. They are required for Council owned community land and Crown land managed by Council.
The Local Government Act 1993 establishes the statutory requirements for Plans of Management and the Crown Land Management Act 2016 provides further requirements for Crown land.
Current and past consultations can be viewed on Council's consultation site.
Change to Environment Zones
The NSW Government is changing the name of Environment Zones across NSW to Conservation Zones. As of 1 December 2021, a reference to an Environment Protection zone E1, E2, E3 or E4 in a document should be taken to be a reference to a Conservation zone C1, C2, C3 or C4.
