NSROC REQUEST FOR TENDER: ROAD RESURFACING, PATCHING AND ASSOCIATED WORKS: RFT Asphalt-2027.

The Northern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (NSROC) comprises of eight councils in Northern Sydney who have voluntarily come together to address regional issues, work co-operatively for the benefit of councils and the region, and advocate on agreed regional positions and priorities.

This Tender is issued on behalf of all eight member councils. They are Hunter's Hill Council, Hornsby Shire Council, Ku-ring-gai Council, Lane Cove Council, Mosman Council, North Sydney Council, Council of the City of Ryde and Willoughby City Council.

NSROC is seeking tenders from qualified and experienced companies for the road surfacing, patching and associated works tender for period from 1 July 2025 to 30 June 2027.

Tender documents must be obtained after registration from the Tenderlink website at illion.tenderlink.com. If you experience difficulty accessing this website, please contact the Tenderlink Helpdesk on 1800 233 533.

Tenders submitted in hard copy can be deposited in the tender box located in the foyer of Lane Cove Council Ground Floor, Civic Centre, 48 Longueville Road, Lane Cove, NSW 2066.

  1. If you have already been registered within the new portal you would have received a confirmation (including your username and password details) of this via email. If you did not receive your registration please refer to point 3 below.
  2. Please use these details to log on and select the industry categories relevant to your business. This will further refine the types of notifications that you wish to receive. This is important to make sure you receive only the notifications of direct interest to you.
  3. If you have not registered, the process is very simple and only takes a few minutes. This link will direct you to the portal. Select the registration tab and enter your email address to create your unique supplier profile. Once complete, you will receive a confirmation of your registration.

Government contracts register

The Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 requires Council to maintain a register of government contracts and specifies what information about the contracts are to be included in the register. Contracts are classified as follows:

  • Class 1 contracts are those over $150,000 via a tender process
  • Class 2 contracts are those over $150,000 and where generally there has not been a tender process or there has been a tender process and the subsequent contract was substantially negotiated with the successful tenderer
  • Class 3 contracts are those Class 2 contracts over $5,000,000 (a copy of the contract will be included in the register)
