Memory Park amenities

New accessible amenities featuring one unisex ambulant toilet and an accessible toilet with baby change facility are being constructed at Memory Park.

The project involves civil, structural and building works, as well as services and surrounding landscaping by Council contractor, RELD Group Pty Ltd.

Works are set to start by 18 October and scheduled to be completed end of January 2022, depending on weather and COVID-19 restrictions.

The playground and access to the park from Cowles Road will remain open during construction with traffic and pedestrian control in effect.

Parking will be suspended at selected areas of Cowles Road as required and drivers are asked to ensure that vehicles are not parked within the Works Zone areas of the car park for the advertised duration.

The Memory Park Amenities was made possible through $250,000 funding from the Australian Government through the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program.
