Young Entrepreneurs’ Hub
Mosman Council has launched a new service for young people aged 17-25 years called The Young Entrepreneurs’ Hub.
With only 68% of university graduates finding employment within the first four months of completing a degree, the hub aims to provide local 17-25 year olds with opportunities to develop new skills, access to mentors and a way to connect with like-minded young people.
The Young Entrepreneurs’ Hub will be open on weekdays from 10am to 3pm and offer a drop-in co-working space with free high speed WiFi, hotdesks and onsite support from youth workers.
For the first term there will also be a series of five free workshops run by Generation Entrepreneurs on subjects like problem solving, design thinking, customer and product development, marketing and branding, and pitching and presentation.
The Young Entrepreneurs’ Hub officially opens on Friday, 8 March, and will be located in the Mosman Youth Centre, under Mosman Library and opposite Allan Border Oval. Generation Entrepreneurs’ workshops will run on five consecutive Fridays from 8 March, at 10.30am -12.30pm.
