24/7 Youth Film Festival Back by Popular Demand
The 24/7 Youth Film Festival is back again and more popular than ever. Now in its 16th year, 24/7 Youth Film Festival is an annual event where young film-makers from the Northern Beaches and Mosman have the chance to create their own short film.
Entrants will have their film shown at Hoyts Warringah Mall and are eligible for a range of product and cash prizes worth up to $5,000.
The competition weekend, locked in for Saturday 29 July, at Stella Maris College, Manly, will see young film-makers step up to the challenge of creating a seven-minute (or shorter) film that needs to be submitted by midday Sunday 30 July – the next day. To make it even more difficult, they will need to include a series of items, phrases, locations and a secret rule in their short film.
All films submitted will be screened at Hoyts Warringah Mall on Monday 21 and Wednesday 23 August, with prizes awarded at the Finals Night on Sunday, 10 September at Hoyts Warringah Mall.
