Rancan Sisters celebrate International Women's Day
Mosman’s celebration of International Women’s Day will feature renowned Australian fitness industry celebrities The Rancan Sisters at a breakfast on Tuesday 8 March from 7.30am to 9.00am at Mosman Art Gallery.
Adele and Lisa overcame numerous challenges since starting out in 1981 when a bank manager couldn’t believe that young girls would want a loan to create a business, soon carving out a brand name that remains synonymous with the fitness industry.
The fitness pioneers are still asked whether there is a man, husband or business partner behind the scenes “running the show”.
“We are looking forward to the International Women’s Day event and hope to inspire women of all ages to create their own path and create their own story. Our motto for women is: What Doesn’t Challenge You, Doesn’t Change You,” Adele and Lisa said.
Under their Rancan Sisters Fitness brand, Adele and Lisa have remained dedicated to inspiring fit and healthy lifestyles for more than three decades, requiring tenacity, commitment and hard work.
Enjoy breakfast while Adele and Lisa share their inspiring stories to encourage women to believe in themselves, stay true to their values, demand equality and stay fit and healthy.
Tickets are $15 per person including admittance and breakfast. Bookings are essential at trybooking.com/KEAE or by calling 9978 4257 by 2 March.
International Women’s Day is celebrated around the world each year on 8 March, providing an opportunity to recognise the achievements of women and their contribution to society. International Women’s Day 2016 theme is “Pledge for Parity”.
