Visitors to Council meetings

Posted on Saturday 13 February 2021

Changes to government-mandated COVID-19 rules have enabled Council to increase the number of visitors to Council meetings and other Council facilities and programs.

The relaxation of capacity limits from four square metres to two square metres per person will enable up to 40 members of the public to attend Council meetings. The meetings, held at the Civic Centre from 7pm on the first Tuesday of the month, will continue to be accessible via webcast.

Members of the public may speak at Council’s meetings to an item on the Agenda. To speak, you must register 5 minutes before the start of the meeting (6.55pm) providing your name and address and identifying the relevant agenda item. Open question time for matters not on the Agenda commences at 6.40pm.
