Local upgrades

Council’s Engineers have been busy over the quieter holiday period upgrading two local roundabouts and preparing to refurbish an iconic shopfront on Military Road.
Following Ausgrid works in the area, the existing roundabouts at Cowles and Belmont Roads and Prince Street and Bardwell Road were upgraded and are being fitted out with new, ornamental plants.
Meanwhile, popular Mosman store Accoutrement has moved a few doors down to a pop-up shopfront at 629 Military Road while its usual home is refurbished.
The upgrade of the Council-owned building starts next month and is expected to be completed in April, with Accoutrement to return in May.
