Mosman Scenic Protection

Have your say on Council’s plans to ensure the protection of Mosman’s scenic foreshore slopes. The visual significance and landscape quality of these areas overlooking Sydney and Middle Harbours and the amenity of existing residential properties has been a Council priority for many years.

To ensure its ongoing protection Council is writing to all affected landowners seeking feedback as it considers applying for an E4 Environmental Living zone to all land within the Mosman Scenic Protection Area currently zoned R2 Low Density Residential under Mosman Local Environmental Plan 2012.

The land would remain a low-density residential area with Council’s controls continuing to apply. For more information and to participate in a short survey visit Council’s consultation site, Your Voice Mosman, by 5 October.
