Spit East Upgrade

Mosman Council has commenced a streetscape upgrade at Spit East to improve the amenity and safety of the area and enhance the site as the northern gateway to Mosman.
Work on the first stage started on 15 October to deliver a new laneway, new indented bus bay, traffic calming, new signage, bike hoops and landscaping at the northern end of Spit East near the foreshore.
The second and final stage, which will include an upgraded laneway and footpaths, new car parking, a new loading zone, signage and landscaping at the southern end near the commercial area, is set to commence in February/March 2019.
