Child Safety with Mosman Youth

Mosman Council and Mosman Youth Services are committed to the safety of children and young people.

A Child Safe Working Group has been working to implement Council’s Child Safety Policy along with a Child Safe Program which includes new requirements for any contractor or volunteer engaging with young people in a Mosman Youth Service program or event.   

This process only needs to be undertaken once by an external contractor or volunteer.  

Below are the documents for you to review: 

1. Child Safe Training 
2. Child Safety Policy 
3. Child Safety Code of Conduct 
4. Child Safety Reporting Procedure 
5. Child Safe – Acknowledgement Form (PLEASE RETURN SIGNED) 
6. Child Safe – Assessment (PLEASE RETURN COMPLETED) 

What you are required to do prior to attending a Mosman Youth program or event: 

1. Read the Child Safe Training, Child Safety Policy, Child Safety Code of Conduct and Child Safety Reporting Procedure (doc 1-4). 
2. Read and sign the Acknowledgement Form (doc 5). 
3. Complete the Assessment (doc 6). 
4. Return the signed Acknowledgement Form and the completed Assessment to Mosman Youth Services – either directly to the staff you are being engaged by or to our service email at youth@mosman.nsw.gov.au
