Youth Consultation

Mosman Youth Services recently completed its 2026 annual youth survey, with young people identifying a range of issues affecting them and their peers. Mental health and wellbeing, school pressure, social connection, cost of living and access to safe local spaces were all top of mind. These themes will continue to inform how Mosman Youth plans programs, activities and opportunities for young people. 

Responses also showed that the Youth Centre is highly valued by young people as a safe, welcoming and positive place to spend time. All respondents said they feel safe at the Youth Centre and that it gives them a positive place to go. 

The survey also highlighted the importance of social connection. 93% of respondents said they had made or strengthened friendships through the Youth Centre, and 82% said the Youth Centre helps them feel like they belong. 

The 2026 survey results will help guide future planning for Mosman Youth Services.
