Youth Volunteering and Leadership

Why volunteer with Mosman Youth?

Volunteering with Mosman Youth gives young people aged 12 to 24 the chance to build practical skills, meet new people and contribute to their local community.

Opportunities may include helping with community projects, supporting events, caring for shared spaces and contributing ideas. Volunteering hours may also be eligible to count towards the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, CAS or other school based service requirements.

Green Thumbs Gardening Group

Green Thumbs is a relaxed gardening group where young people can learn practical skills, spend time outdoors and help care for the Mosman Youth garden. You do not need any gardening experience. The group welcomes volunteers who are interested in working with plants, sustainability and meeting like-minded others.

The group meets on Wednesdays from 4.30pm to 5.30pm during school terms.

Other volunteering opportunities may be offered throughout the year. Complete the expression of interest form to tell us what you are interested in and hear about suitable opportunities as they become available.
