Local Heritage Grants Program
Mosman has a rich and unique historic charm that is characterised by its many heritage listed properties. Council recognises the importance of preserving Mosman’s heritage and that heritage buildings may require more frequent maintenance than newer buildings.
The first year of the Mosman Local Heritage Grant Program (2025-2026) will be focused on properties within the retail and commercial area of the Military Road Heritage Conservation Area which forms an integral part of Mosman’s unique identity and community.
Council encourages owners in the Military Road Heritage Conservation area to apply for funding through the Mosman Local Heritage Grant Program to enhance the appearance and value of properties, while also contributing to the unique character of the local heritage streetscape.
Please refer to the FAQs for more information regarding eligibility, funding limits and what is required in the application.
