Doing Our Bit
Over 1500 local men and women enlisted during the First World War. To commemorate the centenary of The First World War, the Mosman Library Service created Doing Our Bit as a way to encourage research and to collect and share information about the wartime experiences of local service people. Discover their stories in this valuable resource of images, records and memories with contributions from descendants of those brave men and woman, historians and researchers from around the world.
An alphabetical listing of names makes it easy to find a particular service person. The local memorial sites where the names are identified and listed. Links to other collecting institutions are provided and the Blog ensures Doing Our Bit remains a fitting tribute and enables the sharing of stories.
