Darren Junee played first grade football in both Rugby Union and Rugby League.
He played for the Wallabies from 1989 until 1994. In this time, Darren played four Tests (two against France, one against Western Somoa and a Bledisloe Cup win against New Zealand) and went on four tours (Canada and France in 1989, New Zealand in 1990, South Africa, England, Ireland and Wales in 1992) with 26 games for Australia.
During 1989-1994 and 1999-2001, Darren made 56 appearances for the NSW Waratahs.
From 1990 to 1993, he was a member of the Australian Sevens team that played in Hong Kong and Uruguay.
Darren also represented the Australian Schoolboys in 1987, the Australian U21s and the Australian Institute of Sport U21s in 1988, 1989 and 1990.
He decided to play Rugby League for the Sydney City Roosters at the start of 1995 in the positions of winger and fullback. Darren had played 63 first grade games when he retired from league in 1998.
He now teaches Science at St Joseph's College, Hunter Hill.
