Ian Clubb was a regular member of the Australian Men's Eight Rowing Team during the 1970s.

He competed with distinction at four World Rowing Championships - in England 1975, Holland 1977, New Zealand 1978 and Yugoslavia 1979.

Ian reached the pinnacle of his sport when he represented Australia at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, gaining fifth place in the Men's Eight final.

Ian was a member of the Sydney Olympic Organising Committee and is currently Group General Manager of Human Resources for Coles Myer.
