Allan Allman Gamble Exhibition

Allan Allman Gamble was elected to Mosman Council as a representative for the East Ward in 1944 and served on Council until 1968.
He was an architect by profession with an academic post in the School of Architecture at University of Sydney.
He published a number of illustrated books depicting Mosman scenes and the University of Sydney and his sketches are instantly recognisable.
In 1947 Gamble was instrumental in establishing the Mosman Art Prize which has been awarded every year since and this exhibition is a tribute to his contribution to the Sydney art scene.
