Heritage Festival

As part of the Australian Heritage Festival, a special online exhibition will be staged reflecting on Mosman’s rich history of community groups.
Mosman residents have engaged with their community by establishing numerous cultural, environmental, sporting and special interest societies since 1890, with some created in response to particular causes, such as The Mosman and Neutral Bay Rifle Club, which was formed at the outbreak of the First World War, and The Balmoral Progress Association, which was established to rid the beach of an unsightly rubbish tip.
